He is a Post Graduate in Marketing & Management from Delhi University & a B-Com(Hon's) with a professional working experience of over 12 years, before commencing Group's operations in 1995.

He started his career in 1973 form M/s. Gestetner Duplicators Ltd, where he worked for 5 years. Subsequent to which, he joined M/s. Gem India Ltd. A Company dealing in Consumer Durables: Refrigerators being one of the better known product. It is here that he received immense exposure to the setting up & managing of Distribution networks & Branch Office handling before returning to the Corporate Office in New Delhi, to further contribute as their Marketing Manager till 1985.

He was thereafter associated with them as a Resident Director and during the period of 1985-1987 was also appointed Marketing Adviser to M/s. Auto Controls Electronics.

As the MD, he looks after the formulation of marketing policies & heads the Operations; Mrs. Avninder Virk, a Post-Graduate in Management who is In-Charge of all administrative matters and a financial & personal advisor, support him.

Mr. Virk enjoys travelling, is an avid golfer & resides with his wife & 3 children in Sector 35, Chandigarh.
